FAQ
FAQ
The questions men ask, answered the way I'd answer a friend.
Is this a testosterone booster?
No, and I won't call it one. I don't use "booster" herbs, and I'm not going to claim it raises your testosterone. What I will tell you: zinc, magnesium, selenium and vitamin D3 are things your body physically needs to make testosterone. You can't make it if you don't have these ingredients, which is why they're included. If your T is genuinely low, that's a medical issue that needs a doctor's evaluation, which you can do with me if you wish here.
Why four capsules instead of one?
Because a real dose of magnesium and vitamin C won't fit in one. A one-a-day that brags about twenty ingredients is under-dosing almost all of them. I'd rather you swallow four capsules than take a rounding error.
When will I feel something?
Weeks 1–2: probably nothing, and that's normal. This isn't a stimulant. Filling in what your body's short on isn't supposed to hit like a pre-workout.
Weeks 3–6: some men find sleep comes easier. That's likely the magnesium. If you don't notice it, you're not doing it wrong.
Months 2–3: your vitamin D, folate, and B12 reach a new steady state. The eye pigment that lutein builds starts rising around here and keeps going for a year.
Honestly? The things this is really doing don't announce themselves. You'll never feel your macular pigment thickening. That's exactly why I show you what the trials measured instead of promising you a buzz. And some men won't notice a thing — that's a fair outcome, and it's why the guarantee is 90 days.
Is it third-party tested?
Every lot, by an independent lab — identity, potency, heavy metals, and microbial contamination. Certificates go up by lot number so you can look at yours.
Can I take it with my medications?
A few real ones to know:
Vitamin K2 matters if you're on warfarin or a similar blood thinner. Talk to your doctor first — this one's not minor.
Zinc and magnesium can blunt the absorption of some antibiotics and thyroid meds. Separate them by two to four hours.
That's not a complete list. If you're on a prescription, check with your own doctor. I'm a physician, but I'm not your physician.
Should I take this if I smoke, or used to?
This is one reason there's no beta-carotene in Altrek. Large trials found more lung cancer in current and former smokers taking it, and two of them were stopped early. That's why it's not in here. Full story here.
Does it have iron?
No. Men without a diagnosed deficiency generally don't need extra iron, and too much isn't harmless. If you think you're low, get tested.
When does my subscription actually start?
When your first bottle ships — not when you order. Your next charge is 28 days after that first shipment leaves.
Why every 4 weeks instead of monthly?
Four capsules a day for 28 days is 112 capsules — that's the bottle. A 28-day cycle keeps you from running out. It also means 13 shipments a year instead of 12, and I'd rather tell you that here than have you figure it out from your bank statement. Thirteen bottles covers 364 days. A normal 12-a-year plan leaves you five days short.
How do I cancel?
Log in, hit "Cancel subscription," confirm. One screen. No phone call, no email, no survey, no offer you have to turn down before the button works. I hate that stuff too.
What's the guarantee?
Ninety days. Take it, and if you don't want to keep going, email us for a refund. No return shipping, no forms. Ninety days is long enough to finish three bottles and decide with real information instead of hope.
Who shouldn't take it?
Anyone under 18. Anyone pregnant or breastfeeding — this is built for men. Anyone on a blood thinner, until they've talked to their doctor. And anyone with a diagnosed condition that changes how they handle these nutrients, without checking first. Everyone else — this is designed to be safe to take on your own.
Do you sell to women?
Not yet. And when I do, it'll be a genuinely different formula, not a pink label. The trial evidence behind several of these ingredients actually splits by sex — including one where the same supplement helped men and showed a harm signal in women. I'd rather do that right than do it fast.
